AMIT
The Amit Community School Program, a division of the Center for Jewish Education and Experiences (CJEE), provides a Jewish education for children who learn differently. Children with learning disabilities and/or developmental disabilities have the opportunity to learn along side their peers and to receive the individualized attention they need in order to succeed academically.

JF&CS’ Division of Disabilities offers supported living services for adults with developmental disabilities including case management, transportation, job coaching, respite, the Zimmerman-Horowitz Independent Living Program and the Transition Program.

Your Tools for Living are precisely what our experts throughout Atlanta provide. JF&CS represents a diverse range of services for children, adolescents, adults, older adults and families. The experience and professional training of our experts represent credentials ranging from Licensed Clinical Social Workers to Ph.D.-trained, licensed clinical psychologist, board-certified art therapist and certified career professionals.

COORDINATED NETWORK OF SERVICES
FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

A Coordinated Network of services for Persons with Disabilities (The Network) has been established in Atlanta’s Jewish Community. The agencies in The Network are JF&CS, The Marcus Jewish Community Center and CJEE, The Amit Division. Within the Network, families are able to access information and support in several areas: independent living, case management, work, recreation, social activities and education.
